Freedom, fairness, justice, protecting the most vulnerable, and all the other things government should provide…or should it? Mel Brennen and Justin Mudgett go Inside the Divide.

Truth, deception, religion, the Bible, indoctrinating kids, God’s job description, and much, much more. A Christian pastor and a “generic” atheist go Inside the Divide.

We’ve had vaccines for 229 years and the government has been mandating them since George Washington. What’s going on now that makes them so divisive in our time? We talk history, virology, politics, and a steak dinner bet when Dr. Robert Wack and Zach Tomlin go Inside the Divide.

Immigration divides like a wall between nations. Justice, due process, and conflicting media narratives collide. Can solutions emerge? Bob Wimmer and Beau Bryant go Inside the Divide.

They both say our country is in chaos, but are we being destroyed or rebuilt? Tina Hoff and Brian Lewis go Inside the Divide.

What happens when a conservative millennial and a liberal boomer talk about the state of our nation? Lynn Wheeler and Jordan Haegerich go Inside the Divide.

TRUTH

TRUTH

Politics, religion, gender, climate change, the shape of the earth. The list goes on.

Both sides of every issue probably have at least some truth that the “other side” won’t acknowledge. Let’s change that.

NUANCE

In between the stark black and white “sides,” there are often shades of gray and even a spectrum of color that often goes unnoticed. We’re here to see and understand the in-between.

HUMANITY

We seem to have forgotten that behind every view is a you. It’s easy to forget when we hear the positions of people we’ve never met and even interact with them from in front of a screen. We’re here to look each other in our human eyes and follow three rules:

  1. Be calm.
  2. Be clear.
  3. Be kind.
